Our Roots

Founded in 1997, Cablecast Community Media is the pioneer of web-centric digital broadcast automation systems. Our goal is help stations with a small staff and strong ambition to do the most in the fewest amount of steps. With most of our staff coming from a community media background and with many of us still active at local stations, we can simply make the tools that we know we would want. This approach is working well at over 800 stations across the U.S. who rely on Cablecast solutions to power their operation.

Tightrope's Cablecast platform hosts, automates and distributes across cable, web and OTT live and on demand. The comprehensive web UI automates, promotes, streams, captions, chapters, shares and reports on your content from anywhere. Also get fully integrated channel branding, meeting management, digital bulletin board and dynamic VOD portals for web, mobile, and OTT.
