Established in 2008, Holbrook Community Access and Media (HCAM) in Holbrook, MA, has expanded its audience in recent years by expanding its reach with Cablecast.
Prior to Cablecast, cable TV was “our biggest connection to our community,” recalled Zack Gorman, HCAM executive director. “Since we purchased a Cablecast, most people find us through our video-on-demand platform.”
The station has also started using Cablecast’s integrated OTT content distribution tools as well, combined with a stronger social media presence. “We’ve found our viewership has increased because we’ve given people better opportunities to find our programming,” Gorman added.
The Cablecast VIO line of video servers offer cable channel playback, as well as VOD and OTT publishing. Find out more about Cablecast playout automation solutions here.
